Walter Biggs
(1886 - 1968)
Studied under Lucius Hitchcock, Edward Penfield, and Robert Henri, the last being a particular influence. Impressionistic technique and lush color strokes made art directors assign him rare color pages in Redbook, Harper's, Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan, McCall's, Ladies' Home Journal, and others.
