Prolific, best known as the go-to cover guy for publisher Bob Harrison's magazines Eyeful, Titter, Wink, Beauty Parade, and Flirt -- sometimes half-a-dozen in a month! Adapted from duo-tone to 4-color as Harrison's fortunes increased. His good-girls were a bit more curvaceous than his peers, with intriguing costumes accentuating the very positive. His range included Hollywood portraiture (Loretta Young, etc.), and publicity (The Maltese Falcon), and "How To" (Popular Crafts and Hobbies Magazine). Also excelled in crime-pulp covers. Also popular was his depiction of the flag raising at Mount Suribachi on Iwo Jima.
